The vision
CA AI OS is an AI-native operating system designed to help Chartered Accountant (CA) firms automate repetitive accounting, taxation, reconciliation and compliance workflows. Our vision is to simplify how CA firms manage client documents, process financial data, identify discrepancies and prepare review-ready outputs through intelligent automation. Initial MVP Focus - AI-powered document ingestion, OCR and structured data extraction. - GST and income tax reconciliation with automated exception detection. - Automated client document requests and follow-ups. - A review dashboard with evidence-backed outputs, audit trails and CA approval. We aim to build a reliable, workflow-driven AI platform that reduces manual effort while keeping professional judgment and final approval with the CA. We welcome developers, AI/ML engineers, full-stack and backend developers, UI/UX designers, product thinkers, and other technical or creative collaborators who are interested in contributing to the project. Looking for
1. Design canonical GST transaction/data model. 2. Build Excel/CSV/PDF data ingestion and normalization. 3. Build deterministic reconciliation engine. 4. Develop exception taxonomy and matching logic. 5. Build GST validations and tax arithmetic. 6. Implement cross-period reconciliation/history. 7. Build Tally integration. 8. Build GST/GSP/API adapters. 9. Build WhatsApp/email integration. 10. Work directly with CA/GST domain experts to validate workflows.
